Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Look for models that allow you to choose between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty and clean up the stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Check for an app that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
The robot is simple to set up and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are robot vacuum cleaners reviews which are automatically emptied or refilled. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the small rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can control by defining a virtual boundary in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one area to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors and leaves a large margin between obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great at picking up dirt and debris but they can't reach every speck of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Even though it's not able to clean your floors, the Q5 has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home, which will allow it to enter places that other vacuums are unable to reach. The device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
